Idea 2 -
Short film adaptation of an
urban legend (so no copyright) popularly known as Killer In The
Backseat. Due to it being a legend and more of a spoken story, details
change so it would be up to the group to decide what these are. This
story follows a woman who hears about a serial killer around her area
(town, city, county etc.) who seems to be targeting women in cars. She
leaves [work, place of education or similar] at night, and goes to her
car. She begins to drive home, until she notices a car seemingly
following her for a while. Although she shakes it off, the car behind
continues to follow. The car behind then starts to flash their lights at
her, as if to prompt her to pull over. She panics, speeds up and tries
to get away from the vehicle, convincing herself that the car following
is the killer she has heard about. This persists for a while, the car
behind still following and flashing their lights. She decides that it
would be unsafe for her to drive all the way home, so she calls a friend
who lives nearby, informing her of what is happening and that she is en
route to her house. The car still follows. The woman frantically pulls
up outside of the house and the car follows. She runs to the house,
where her friend waits (possibly with a gun or weapon of some sort). The
man gets out of the car which has followed her, and runs towards the
two stood outside of the house. Just as her friend is about to [attack,
shoot him?] he calls out to stop. He reveals to them that he is not in
fact the killer, and leads them to the womans car. He tells them that he
saw a man get into the back of the womans car, which is revealed to be
the famous killer, and they find him in the back of the car, hidden in
the footwell.
