Story Idea 3
The story is set in modern day, working class Britain. It is late one night and a young man (around 17-20) is walking home. On his way he encounters various, simple events.
Rough Plot:
[Protagonist] is seen leaving someone's house (possibly a relative, friend, girlfriend, etc.). On his way he sees some people going about their lives; such as a couple rowing, a few people he knows may pass, people getting into trouble with the police, someone hurling abuse at him.
About halfway through his journey, he encounters a strange figure which cannot be seen very clearly. The strange figure leans in and appears to whisper something to [protagonist] however, it is not made clear what is said. The figure also appears to slip something into [protagonist's] pocket, again it is not clear what. From this point onwards, [protagonist] is acting quite strange and shifty. He becomes very reclusive. Once he arrives home he seems hesitant about walking in and takes a look at whatever it is that the figure placed in his pocket. He takes a deep breath and enters his home. End.
